Jonathan Safran Foer!

So, this post is a little delayed, but the Q&A with Jonathan Safran Foer was really, really good.  I personally was blown away by how articulate yet unpretentious he was.  I also found his take on writing refreshing; in a room of so many people trying to overanalyze every reference, every phrase, every step, etc., he kind of just said, “I just write.”  While I was bothered by the moderator (and, specifically, how much she talked about herself), the talk was a good one.  It was very much geared toward literature as a means of expressing oneself and furthering compassion, and writing as something very personal.  It was, in my opinion, what it should have been.  ”Write” on, JSF…”write” on.
