I met Mark Valley last night! As part of the New York Television Festival, Fox held a premiere (well actually the second episode) screening of Fringe and the supporting cast walked the red carpet. Mark Valley was on Boston Legal and Keen Eddie before arriving on Fringe, in case you don’t know who he is. And while he’s probably not going to be at the festival today, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be.

Today, there will be a series of panels about television production as well as screenings of independent pilots. Some highlights to check out include Sundance Celebrity Swag Hunt, a pilot starring Gary Coleman and Dustin “Screech from Saved by the Bell” Diamond, at 1:15 and a panel on writing for late night comedy shows at 5:30. The best part is that all the panels and pilots are free. So if you want to take a break from studying, check out the schedule and go to New World Stages (50th between 8th and 9th). See you there!
