The swine flu is here?

Keep using that Purell, because according to an “IMPORTANT FLU UPDATE” from Barnard’s Dean Dorothy Denburg, H1N1 cases have already cropped up across the school.

In fact, shortly after the e-mail was received, Spec overheard some mailroom talk of a potential dorm-room quarantine.

And when logging into eBear—Barnard’s SSOL—students are greeted with a small, benign, popup, reminding them to call the swine flu line.

We are beginning to see cases of H1N1 in the Barnard community.

If you have flu-like illness, please register right away at
www.barnard.edu/flu (click on “Got Flu?”) so that we can:

- Protect your health and that of your classmates and roommates

- Get you the assistance you may need

- Inform faculty and administration about absences

- Help track cases within our community

You may also call 212-854-1FLU to speak with a Primary Care Health Service
clinician.
